The LTE PTZ dome camera with SIM card and mobile radio transmission for outdoor applications offers Full HD image quality, infrared with a range of 60 meters and connection in minutes thanks to P2P technology.
The PTZ camera has a built-in 3G / 4G / LTE modem and can be used anywhere where WiFi is not available.
Powerful 22x zoom lens
The ideal surveillance camera when you need to zoom in on objects further away. A high quality 22x zoom lens, which can be controlled remotely via an app or computer, allows you to see the finest detail on distant objects such as people's faces, number plates or letters. The focal length ranges from 4.7mm to 103.4mm.
Night vision with built-in IR LED
The 6 IR power LEDs emit infrared light, which to the human eye is only perceived as a red glow. To the camera sensor, the scene appears as if illuminated by daylight. Since the infrared spectrum is outside our field of vision, and therefore outside the colour spectrum, the camera's videos are black and white. The range of the infrared LEDs is 80 metres.
8 presets for pre-positioning
The PTZ dome control can be programmed so that the PTZ dome camera automatically moves to preset positions. These can be driveways, construction site containers, construction vehicles, or building entrances. Up to 128 presets are available.
The integrated SD card slot accepts micro SD cards of up to 128 GB capacity. This allows local storage of video sequences or alarm images. For continuous recording allowed 24 hours/day, SD cards are not as good as they are not designed for continuous recording.
Time lapse function for nature images or construction progress videos
Images can be uploaded to ftp server according to time, which can be stitched together to make a video clip. Here number of x images are uploaded daily for a period of time. 10 images uploaded to the ftp server per day gives a video clip of about 5 minutes duration after 6 months.
Network and WLAN independence
As the PTZ dome camera works with a built-in modem for mobile communication and transmits video over the LTE network, it is independent of network or WLAN connections. However, before buying an LTE camera, you should check the field strength of the LTE receiver on site. You can do this easily on your phone (phone screen above), or you can download an app from Playstore / Apple Store that shows the reception strength.
Videos on your mobile phone, from anywhere in the world
With P2P technology, the days of complicated configuration of network components are gone. Setting up a PTZ dome camera only takes a few minutes. Our instructions below will help you get started and set up your system.
Which SIM card is suitable for the camera?
Since video data is transmitted over the cellular network, a large amount of data is consumed. Here's a simple calculation: if 5 minutes of camera footage is viewed every day of the month, the amount of data will be approximately 1 GB per month. If data is accessed for 15 minutes a day, a data volume of 3 GB per month is required. The cost of a SIM card with 2GB per month is approximately 10 euros per month. If the camera is not supported by the APP of the mobile phone or PC, there is no data traffic (there is still a minimum data traffic to register the camera on the network, but it does not exceed 80MB per month).
Useful application for smartphones and tablets
With your mobile phone and the free app "Camhi", you always have access to the camera. When you receive a message on your mobile phone because the camera has detected movement in front of the camera, download the live image to your mobile phone and check the situation on the spot. With this application, you can pan, tilt and zoom the camera.
You can also view videos recorded on SD card directly on your phone. The "Camhi" app can be downloaded for free from Playstore for Android smartphones and Apple Store for Iphones.
Nothing works without power
If there is no electricity on site, the only option is to use a solar system. Solar system kits for a PTZ dome camera include a 100-watt panel, a controller, a 30AH to 40AH battery and a set of cables for around €400. This is sufficient for day and night operation of the camera.
However, problems can be expected in the winter months from November to February, as winter sunlight is very low and the system does not provide enough power.
