With a powerful 8 watt solar panel that is not permanently attached to the camera, you have the freedom to choose the best position for maximum sunlight exposure. No more worries about empty batteries, because the integrated rechargeable batteries can be charged both via the solar panel and via a mains adapter. So you are always protected, regardless of the conditions.

Please note that this is by no means a fail-safe method of monitoring - the performance of the solar panel is highly dependent on weather conditions and shading. Furthermore, as with all Li-ion batteries, battery performance fluctuates with temperature and battery life. For truly continuous and fail-safe video surveillance, we recommend a surveillance camera with a permanent power supply. The battery should lass appr. 8-12 days with no sun light if the battery is fully charged and the camera is used in energy safe mode.
