The DB-01 camera can be installed indoors or outdoors, independent of power supply and network connection and without the hassle of laying cables. The practical magnetic holder also allows the surveillance camera to be quickly moved to another location.

2-way audio

The surveillance camera with battery allows audio communication in both directions thanks to the built-in microphone and loudspeaker. In this way, the camera also serves as an intercom system.

Suitable for outdoor use

Thanks to its IP65 rating, the camera can be used both indoors and outdoors without hesitation. So there are no restrictions when using it indoors or outdoors to monitor the garden, driveway or front door.

Different types of lighting

The surveillance camera has built-in IR night vision LEDs that still show detailed, clear video even in total darkness. As these infrared frequencies are above our visual spectrum and therefore above our colour spectrum, the video is displayed in black and white.

However, additional white light LEDs can be used to display the scene in colour at night, whereby the power consumption of these white light LEDs reduces the runtime of the built-in batteries. This white light can be switched on and off via the APP.

Alarm messages and triggering

The PIR sensor, which is located on the front of the camera, triggers an alarm and a message to your mobile phone. In addition, there is also the option of using the camera's video motion detection to define the areas to avoid false alarms and to specify exactly which areas are eligible for the alarm.

Camera runtime

The voltage of the rechargeable batteries is maintained for approximately 1 year when the camera is not in use. Depending on the use of the camera and its functions, the batteries supplied offer a runtime of 4 - 6 months. Assuming an alarm rate of 20x per day, the batteries will provide power for a period of 3 -4 months. This is reduced by manual access to the live image, frequent use of the built-in white light LED, etc.

Accessing the camera with the APP

The APP "Vicohome" can be downloaded free of charge from Playstore (Android) and Applestore (iOS), the setup is done in a few minutes. This way you can access the live videos and also the videos recorded on the SD card from anywhere in the world and check if everything is okay at home.
