POE single cable solution
The POE technology allows easy cable laying, since the supply voltage and the video data are carried out via a network cable. This eliminates the need to install an electrical outlet near the camera at the installation location.
For using the POE feature it is necessary to use a so-called POE switch, which combines the video signal with the camera voltage and transports it via the mains cable (cable lengths up to 100 meters possible - up to 100 meters with a LAN extender). POE technology has become a common method in video surveillance.
Infrared lighting for night vision
The infrared IR LEDs integrated in the POE camera ensure good illumination of the objects even in total darkness. The Smart IR technology prevents the overexposure of objects that are too close to the camera lens. Here the power of the LEDs is reduced. The IR spectrum of the built-in IR LEDs is above the color spectrum, so the videos are in black and white.
Integration in VMS systems
