AP-W20316 Underwater IP camera with 2 megapixel resolution and 316L stainless steel housing, specially designed for marine/salt water applications.
With a 130° angle of view and a Sony high resolution 2MP (1.920 x 1.080 pixels) Sony sensor, the W20316 IP underwater camera is ideal for marine applications. Furthermore, the high quality 316L stainless steel alloy protects against corrosion. ###
In addition to applications in marine engineering and oceanography, there are many possible applications, such as inspections of port facilities and boat hulls, monitoring of animal husbandry on water farms and oceanological surveys.
Universal integration via the ONVIF protocol
The IP W20316 underwater camera has ONVIF standard camera protocol and can therefore be integrated into almost any video management system. On our website you will find a selection of options for tracking camera video streams using PC programs.
The videos can also be displayed in the "MKVsion" APP program, which can be downloaded free of charge from Playstore (Android) and Applestore (iOS).
Latest H.265 compression technology
Due to the amount of data, the resolution of 4 megapixels results in much higher demand for disk and transmission space than in the case of a VGA camera. This is where the new H.265 compression technology comes in: With more efficient compression of the image content, the amount of data from the camera is reduced to a value that can be compared with the amount of data in 0,7MP. The total network and storage costs are reduced.
Underwater resistance to a depth of 30 metres
Thanks to a special casing, a pressure of up to 400 kPa can be achieved, which corresponds to a water depth of 30 metres. (MSL pressure 100kPa + 300kPa at 30 metres)
If the connecting cable should be longer than 15 metres, we can do it. Here, however, a delivery time of about 3-4 weeks is necessary.
Additional light source with white light and infrared
The IP underwater camera offers 3 additional infrared night vision LEDs that illuminate the scene even in total darkness. As the infrared spectrum is above our colour spectrum, the films are black and white. Infrared illumination has the great advantage that even in the darkness we can see an image as bright as during the day, with only a slight red glow on the camera. This has a calming and not annoying effect on marine life.
In addition, the IP underwater camera has 4 powerful white LEDs which can be switched on and off just like the IR LED. The scene is completely illuminated by white LEDs and the videos are displayed again in colour.
The light sensor in the camera controls infrared as well as the white LED.
Access to the camera from anywhere in the world
Thanks to the P2P technology, the camera can be accessed from anywhere in the mobile network via APP. We also offer software (for Windows and Mac PC), which offers various options for camera settings. Configuration is also very simple and complicated router settings are not necessary.
The camera housing is made of a very robust 316L stainless steel alloy and is therefore also suitable for use when salts and other chlorides are used in the water.
